INTEROUTE&VILLE is France's leading event for town and country planning professionals working within a sustainable mobility framework.
On route for Metz
The 4th INTEROUTE&VILLE will this year be reaching out to sector professionals in north eastern France. Metz will play host to the 2010 event, from 26 to 28 October, which will feature an exhibition and a conference with high technical added value.
A rapidly changing sector
Decentralisation, national and European directives on sustainable development, regional and local strategies to improve quality of life and transport facilities, innovation, new technology... in a sector undergoing rapid change, it's vital for professionals from the road infrastructure and urban and interurban transport sectors to come together at a single event.
Held every 2 years in a French region, INTEROUTE&VILLE is a meeting point for the road community (contractors, project managers, private companies and public services) and addresses key issues facing the sector by:
- providing exposure for the national road engineering guidelines in the French regions,
- fostering an exchange of experiences and the sharing of practices,
- supporting innovation as part of a sustainable development approach,
- ensuring France retains its global leadership in the field of road engineering
A leading road industry event
From private companies and local authorities to scientific and technical networks and decentralised public services, a complete range of professionals involved in the design, building, maintenance and operation of road infrastructures, urban public road networks, public transport facilities and the development of public spaces will be heading to Metz in 2010.
